A traffic sign with signalling lamps designed for use particularly in towns to warn traffic of a road
hazard such as a pedestrian crossing or dangerous bend. Improved visibility due to the twin flashing lamps.
- 1000 x 1000 mm traffic sign with twin halogen lamp Ø 200 mm (bulb 12V/20W)
- signalling lamps operate in asynchronous flash mode, automatic night dimming
- 2 m supply lead, ready for mounting
- power supply options:
- may be powered by mains electricity 230V~/50Hz, in which case it may be operated 24 hours a day
- may be powered from the town's street lighting circuits, in which case operation time is limited by the capacity of the battery (recharged at night only)
- may also be recharged by solar cells, in which case operation time is dependent on solar cell performance (recharged during daylight hours only)
- board is mounted using standard traffic sign clamps to a post of min. Ø 60 mm, or to a lamp post using
standard street lighting clips and metal straps
- other traffic signs available on request
- supplementary plates carrying warning text such as SCHOOL or CAUTION, CHILDREN!
The power supply/battery system is mounted on the board's post. |

Powered from the mains supply 230V~/50Hz
- includes a transformer with 230V~/12V= rectifier, which is mounted at the rear of the lamp board, requires the
mains connection to be equipped with a circuit breaker
- may be operated 24 hours a day
- may be fitted with an optional 230V timer which allows the lamps to be turned on/off at specified times and/or days of the week

Powered from the 230V~/50Hz street lighting circuit.
- includes charger, 12V/55Ah battery and 12V= timer, all in a single case suitable for mounting on the post behind the
board, using clamps from the traffic signs section
- the timer allows three daily periods of operation to be set, 12 hours of operation in total

Solar-powered.
- includes battery charging regulator, 12V/55Ah battery and 12V= timer installed in a single case mounted on the rear side of the board
- comes complete with solar cells located above the light board
- includes load-bearing frame for the light board and solar cell
- the timer allows three daily periods of operation to be set
- does not require mains power supply
